The International Conference on Wood Based and Engineering Technology 2026 (ICWET 2026) is an international platform dedicated to fostering innovation, strengthening collaboration and showcasing impactful research in wood-based technology, engineering applications and sustainable development.

Scheduled for 12–13 August 2026 in hybrid mode, ICWET 2026 brings together Politeknik Negeri Medan (POLMED) as the host institution, Wood Technology Centre, Politeknik Kota Kinabalu as co-organiser, and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) as the academic partner.

The conference provides a dynamic platform for researchers, academics, industry practitioners and students to exchange ideas, build strategic partnerships and promote high-quality publications. ICWET 2026 aims to drive technology-driven solutions for sustainable living while strengthening Malaysia–Indonesia academic collaboration at the regional and international levels.
